Akača means “space”, the first element were created before fire, water, earth and air. We’re in it, living and breathing in a sphere, a room, a universe of something mysterious. According to the Samkhya school of Hindu philosophy, Akasha is one of the five Mahābhūtas (grand physical elements) having the specific property of sound; In Loakasa the universe forms only a part. Akasha is that which gives space and makes room for the existence of all extended substances. In Indonesia, Akasha often related to Langit, Angkasa or sky.
Akača Manifesto ambitious to spread the local value by raising local issues through the visualization of everyday goods such as notes. Also take part in preserving Indonesian’s culture in the middle of world’s heterogeny, showing that differentiation in one space is a strength that a human held. This brand was initiated by Aulia Akbar as the conceptor and Gusti Ayu Jessy Kartini as the book-crafter. Together they bring the mission to grasp the local culture dan manifest it in the easier form to access, so the knowledge could be kept by consistency through generations through a personal culture of literature.
